You know those Sunday evenings, when you have had a lovely weekend, but suddenly find yourself with work piling up, and energy rapidly depleting?
Yup, having one of those.
You know the one…
An evening when you decide to make tea, only to find the water coming out of the tap is already brown.
When you decide to make a quick and easy omelette, but somehow end up with a brownish pile of unappetizing mush.
When you open the fridge door to grab some ketchup (good Heinz ketchup saves ANY meal!), and the brand new bottle of super expensive and hard to find soy sauce slides out and smashes on the floor.
No worries... luckily I invested in a nice new mop for the house! (Now, post-cleanup, dyed a sickly brownish colour).
Finally, I sit down to enjoy my luke warm bowl of mush and bottle of Heinz ketchup. I promise you, I do know how to squeeze ketchup out of a bottle, yet somehow, this time I miss, and the high power stream of red sauce misses my bowl completely, and instead streaks across the table and my pile of papers.
Pah Hahahaha
This time it is finally too much, and I collapse in a heap of giggles.
What does one do on a night like tonight? I am tempted to call it quits and curl up in bed to finish my novel with some chocolate… or should I rather show this night who is boss by putting ina few more hours work? Hmmm…
What would you do?
